Boxer puppy adoption near me11/21/2023 ![]() ![]() BRAF does not adopt on a “first-come first-served” basis, instead we carefully consider the needs of both the family AND the Boxer to ensure a successful match is made. There may be times several families are interested in the same dog. Placement – Once approved, a member of our Placement Team will begin working with you to find the best match for your family. Once the home visit is complete, and our Volunteer has submitted the necessary paperwork, you will be notified of your application status. We do require that all members of your household be present, along with your family dogs. Home Visit – This is an important part of the process and helps us when considering the best placement for both you and the Boxer. You will then be contacted regarding the status of your application and if applicable a home visit by one of our Volunteers will be arranged at a mutually convenient time. Once this part of the process is completed and approved, a member of our Application Team will call you to go over your application and answer any questions you may have. If any information is lacking, additional details will be required before moving forward. Preliminary Screening – Upon receipt of the application all references will be checked, including the vet, landlord and HOA (if either is applicable). Providing thorough information will help expedite this. Please understand we are all volunteers and the adoption process may take several weeks. They are tested with other dogs, cats (when possible) as well as children.The adoption process begins when you submit your application. Must be a resident of North Carolina, South Carolina or Virginia.Īll of our rescued Boxers are temperament tested to evaluate how they react to different situations and environments. Adoption donations are NON-REFUNDABLE, as the donations are immediately used to pay vet bills. They have been through quite a bit and deserve to find that permanent home of their own, where they will be cherished.īlue Ridge Boxer Rescue’s adoption fee is between $200 & $400, unless otherwise noted.
